For all the single moms and dads pulling weights and making magic

Patching pieces of puzzles together in different spaces

Expecting nothing

Living with different methodologies

Searching to find paths to a better life

I hope your energy grows like a plant as you strive

And as you swerve left to revert and digress to regress

I hope you find peace of mind when you rest

Remaining blessed

For the deep strength you possess

Spread love and happiness

In the deep stress

Of the responsibilities you’ve been given to direct

In a man-made world manipulatively constructed

For self-destruction

Learn to find joy in deep depressions

As you grow in life progressions

Have an eye for the wicked when you see them

It’s only one life you’ve been given so live it
